Club
scene in Singapore:
Clubbing in Singapore for
anyone who has not here can be a bit different
from other places in the world that I have been.
Singapore is trying to become a major party hub
in the region. Back in 2005 the hours of
operation for night spots was extended to 24
hours in some areas where a lot of clubs are
located. So now you can party until 7am in the
morning at many places.
Wednesday nights are the
best nights for the ladies because numerous
places have free flow of drinks for the ladies all
night long or during certain hours on house pours or other special
drink deals. So if you are out looking to meet some
women this is always good night to hit the pubs
and try your luck with the local ladies.
I have yet to be in a night
club where I didn’t find hookers be at a local girl
or from some other country like Thailand,
the Philippines, Vietnam or China in the area having fun. While
is some clubs they really stand out in others
they may be a bit harder to spot but chances are
she’ll find you if you are here on vacation.
Types of
places:
Discos’:
Your bigger discos open up around 8 or 9pm and
stay open until the morning time. Bars and pubs
for most part start to open around 5pm and the
crowds start to come in about 7 or 8 depending
on the night of the week. Just about every place
has happy hours deals which can save you a
bundle, this usually end between 8 and 10pm.
Bars /
Pubs – General type: Most of the bars you’ll
find your working class both local, Expats and
visitors. Great places to relax with friends and
maybe meet some new friends. From about 6pm
until closing they get a good crowd with it
starting to thin out after 11pm or weekdays. On
weekends until 1am when many of them start to
close for the night and the crowds star to move
to the bigger clubs / disco’s to end off the
night.
Pubs –
Wild type: depending on where you go you can
find pubs that are on a more wild side, meaning
that you will find buy-me-drinks girls that will
keep you company for the price of a drink. The
action can vary from pub to pub and with so many
of them around you need to know where to go and
which pubs to hit for the level of action you
are seeking since the drinks prices are the same
in all pubs for the girls. Most of the girls
working in these pubs are Filipinas’ but you can
also find pubs with Vietnamese and China girls
too but not so much for the PRC girls as they
are called. Some pubs the girls are there for
take out either short time – 1 hour or long time
or even over night if you want. In the
buy-me-drink bars some girls will leave with you
after closing or if special arrangements has
been made with bar. Inside the bar the girls can
get pretty friendly again depending on the pub.
Hotel
lobby bars: all of the hotels have bars
located in them and some are better then others
but worth checking out to see what is going on.
You’ll find live music in many of them by local
bands or maybe groups from the Philippines
playing.
KTV’s:
Good places to go if in a group to save cost.
KTV charge by the room and the main idea is to
get you to by a bottle which can run from S$190
to S$290 a bottle but if you get a bottle the
room will be free in some places for several
hours. Most open about 4pm for happy hours which
will end about 7 or 8pm. The girls in the KTV
mostly are from China but you will find Malay’s,
Vietnamese and Singaporean also.
The Chinese girls often speak little
English so for some this can be a bit of hassle
when the mama-son starts to parade the girls
into your room. Tell the mama-son what you are
looking for as in what type of girl so she can
bring in what you like, if you don’t see one
that meets your needs let her know and she’ll
bring in some more until you pick one.
Sometimes the girls will do what is
called “butterfly” meaning she will move between
several room at the same time entertaining guys
in each room until someone make a serious move
then she will remain in that room to earn a
bigger tip at the end of session.
Most of the KTV girls will not meet
customers after work so everything happens in
the KTV. Tips go to the girls and mama-son each.
Some KTV can cost you 1,000’s of dollars so
knowing which one fit in your budget is a must
of you are looking for this kind of adventure.
Japanese
KTV’s: Same as about but a lot more
expensive and a higher class of girls since they
have to cater to the Japanese and the way they
like to party.
Orchard
Towers: The place most if not all visitors
know about. This is a shopping center located at
the start of Orchard Road and has over 14 bars
in it on the 4 floors. Thus the name “the four
floors of whores” (basement not included). You
can find local girls partying in some of the
pubs but usually not as hookers but there with
friends having a good time. Orchard Towers
offers something for everyone, from a large
disco, top 5 on the 4th floor to
small pubs to her-she bars. Everything can be
found in the Towers. Girls from all over
Southeast Asia, Europe and even some Latin
countries can be found working there. You have a
country western bar, live bands and DJ’s. If you
like dancers several of the clubs have them on
the bar tops to entertain you.
Geylang:
This is your main Red Light District in
Singapore. Running from lorong 6 to lorong 24
this is the area where the houses are that the
girls work out of. The girls are mostly
Chinese-Malay or Thai and cost range from 40
dollars for a Thai girl for 30 minutes to 150
for a Chinese-Malay for 1 hours. You can get 2
girls if you want and the operator of the house
will tell you the price. Many of the houses have
the girls behind a glass wall or what is the
“the fish tank” while others places you walk in
and make an order where they will call to get
the kind of girl you requested. The houses
operate from 2pm to 2am on average. On the other
side you have the girls on the street, Chinese,
Thais, Indonesian, Sir Lankan, Indians, Malay,
Singaporean, Russians and yes the He-shes too
are there. Price range is from S$30 to S$100 for
a short time with a girl plus S$5 to S$10 for the
room. The Thai girls all have pimps which you
have to deal with first to close the deal while
many of the others are all freelancers to some
degree. The room can range from a motel room to
small rented room off an alleyway that may or
may not have hot running water. Condoms are
widely user by all the girls weather in a house
or on the street. If you want to take one of the
Thai girls back to your hotel which is out of
the Geylang area. The pimp will require you to
leave your passport if here on vacation, they
will call your hotel to make sure you are
staying there, request for some other items of
yours like your IC card if a local to ensure the
girls safety. They can provide you with a room
of theirs which is a good way to go. During the
day time you can find a few Chinese girls and
some Indians when it gets around the 6 to 7pm
time frame the Sir Lankan and Indonesian girls
will start to show up. 10 to 11pm the Thai and
Chinese girls are out in force. Around 4 to 5am
things start to wine done fast. Now for the
vacationer to Singapore the prices you have read
here could be double, it’s not right it is just
the business plus many of the girls are use to
Asia’s, so keep that in mind it is only business
but still cheaper then it is back home for sure.
